Registration

  • This is a double elimination tournament on carpeted logs for amateur and adult sport. All divisions with 4 people or less will roll a round robin. USLRA rules will be followed. The safety crash zone will be more than three feet perpendicular to the log for space. Logs for amateurs 7 & under will be held for the start. 8 & up will be pole starts if skill allows. We will hold for new rollers.  The smallest log will be a #5 log.

    We welcome beginners and by having amateurs separate; we hope to have a nice relaxed atmosphere. 
    We would encourage you to come out and watch the professional log rollers on Friday night! There are lots of additional activities at the festival itself, https://www.paperfest.com/.

  • Men's and Women's Professional Log Rolling Divisions will be run concurrently.

    Competition Spike logs. Bring spike and carpet for warm-up. Spike warm-up logs will be limited

    Prize Money:
    Guaranteed to be $5,000 total purse for log rolling split 50/50 between the men's and women's divisions. Each division of log rolling will have a prize money break down as follows: 1st- $700, 2nd- $500, 3rd- $375, 4th- $275, 5th- $200, 6th- $200 7th- $125, 8th- $125.
  • Men's and Women's Professional Log Rolling Divisions will be run concurrently.

We are excited to announce the 2023 15th Annual Three Rivers Roleo will be partnering with Paperfest and the Fox Cities Convention & Visitor Bureau in Kimberly, Wisconsin on July 14 & 15! 

Paperfest has been an admission-free community festival in the Fox Valley for more than 30 years, recently drawing as many as 30,000 people throughout the weekend.  Promising something for everyone, it features 35 bands on three stages, fireworks, Balloon Glow, sporting events, craft fair, family entertainment and more.  Check out the details on their website at: www.paperfest.com/

What are the goals of the 2023 Three Rivers Roleo presented by KRICK, LLC?

Three Rivers Roleo strives to provide the best competition. Every effort is being made to provide safety, consistency, and transparency to all athletes while encouraging superior sportsmanship for the enjoyment of our fans. The tournament also serves to promote the sport of log rolling, and demonstrate support for our sponsors who make the event possible.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking - available at Sunset Beach (Sunset Point Park, 1010 W Fulcer Ave, Kimberly, WI 54136), Fox Valley Church, and boat landing parking lots, as well as village streets.

Transportation - we will run a shuttle bus from JRG & Antique Up to the main entrance of Paperfest (you will have signs directing them to the beach from there)

What rules will be followed?

This is a United States Log Rolling Association (USLRA) Sanctioned Level Two Tournament log rolling tournament for professionals. All USLRA rules will be followed for profesionals and amateurs. Additional safety precautions will be taken for an area greater than three feet parallel to the dock.  Each competitor will sign a liability waiver, media waiver, and Code of Conduct agreement when registering on the day of the event in order to compete.

The draw will take place in advance of the event; names of all Competitors registered at that time will be in the draw. Any names withdrawn after the draw will be regarded a scratch, just as if happened during competition; USLRA rules will apply.

Match Order Professionals:

Two docks will run for all competitors. Traditional bracket order will be followed. A detailed schedule of match order will be available in the competitors' area. Competitors are responsible for paying attention to the match order. Competition will move to one dock in later rounds (if time becomes a constraint (haven't experienced) we will stay at two. This will be noted in the competitor area.

Match Order Amateurs & Adults Sport:

Minimum of two docks will run for all competitors.  Competitors are responsible for paying attention to the match order.

Do I need to wear my competitor shirt? Can I wear my sponsors' logo?

Competitor shirts must be worn during competition, while accepting awards, and during tournament photos. Personal sponsors’ logos may be worn during competition with prior approval, and can be displayed on hat, shorts, socks or calf sleeves only. Please contact Katie Burke via email, katie@kricklogrolling.com, by June 19 for approval.

Approval for the US Log Rolling Open does not mean you are approved for Three Rivers Roleo.

* Schedule Subject to move earlier with potential weather or larger than expected registration. For large registration will notifiy well in advance.  If weather arrives late in the event as a last resort we would complete the next morning. Everything possible will be done to adjust the schedule per the forcast within 72 hours. The Village of Kimberly's Sunset Beach evacation of water polcies need to be followed.
